Content Development

Content Development is key to building an engaging brand that your audience can find validity in your company, as well as a way to stay connected and entwined with what your organization is doing. Additionally the more content you have populating the internet, the more authority your brand has in regards to how Search Engines index your website.

So what counts as content? That’s the good news… EVERYTHING! Pictures, videos, articles, even pages, and writings you enjoy and are inline with your brand’s image created by other content producers. Every audience is different, and as such they will respond differently, with that being said pictures and videos are at the top of the list. Don’t worry you don’t need to hire the next Ansel Adams, or Steven Spielberg, (not that it would hurt either,) but periodic snapshots of product being built, or events being arranged go a long way.

Consistency is the next biggest thing to understand. Posting content weekly is imperative, posting content daily is great, posting content every hour… that’s likely a bit of overkill. There’s a goldilocks zone for every organization you may be able to continue your online growth with 4 or 5 posts a week, especially if they’re quality and giving something intrinsically valuable back to your audience. On the other hand your audience may very well need multiple daily posts especially if your organization is all about passing along information.

Creating an Engaging Brand

Content creation is dependent primarily on your target audience first and your available information and tools second. In order to have a truly effective strategy all parts of the puzzle have to come together in order to work effectively.

Quality of Quantity

It’s hard not to get caught up in the vicious cycle of posting content just for the sake of posting something. Unfortunately when you take the quality out of your posts they don’t look any different than spamming your audiences newsfeeds, and just how you avoid clicking on every little thing so will your audience. Ensuring that you put quality into the content you produce will ensure that your audience isn’t feeling overwhelmed with your online presence
