The very first time I listened to this song, and album the first time through I couldn’t help but be transported on an epic cosmic adventure. Being able to be transported to a distant place through sound alone is an impressive feat and signs of being emotionally evocative; being able to create full worlds and galaxies is a whole other thing.
Hidden within such a short timeframe Midnight Juggernauts are able to create an entire story which could only be properly captured in a high-end theatrical experience (stage and film, because you need the full emotional and visual gamut.)
The spirit behind this music has always been awe-inspiring and was a big influence on the theme of this week. In fact, I would argue this has been the first week to have a consistent theme, aside from the emotions at hand, of course. I hope to go into more detail about the specifics of this weeks imagery, perhaps tomorrow, but I make no promises.
